The award is the highest honour the ISA gives. Announced at an awards ceremony held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Dublin on Friday 20th November, Globoforce was chosen from four other shortlisted companies to be named the overall winner. The company was chosen due to its superior product development, innovative mobile technology and employee talent pool.

The keynote speaker for the Awards was US based founder and CEO of Automattic Inc. Matt Mullenweg, while Sharon Ní Bheoláin, Journalist and Broadcaster was MC for the evening.
